'E.T.' Star Henry Thomas Arrested On Suspicion Of DUI In Oregon

Actor Henry Thomas, who played Elliott in the 1982 classic, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, was arrested on Monday (October 21) on suspicion of DUI in Oregon, as per TMZ.

According to the report, the Tualatin PD told the celebrity gossip outlet that another motorist called 911 around 8:30 p.m. to report that someone's car was stopped in the middle of a residential intersection. Once authorities arrived to the scene, they discovered the former child star, 41, passed out behind the wheel. While his vehicle did not smell of alcohol, they took Thomas into the Washington Country Jail on suspicion of DUI. Thomas was booked for misdemeanor driving under the influence of intoxicants and released on his own recognizance on Tuesday morning.

Thomas is most known for his leading role in the famed Steven Spielberg film, where he befriends an alien. Most recently, the actor appeared in Netflix's series, The Haunting of Hill House.
