Wells Fargo and JPMorgan Chase banking institutions are catching some heat after telling their customers that their 3rd stimulus check could be delayed for a few days. They're saying the money could delayed until Wednesday (03/17/21) of this week.
Wells Fargo has said that it would provide all of the direct deposits "according to the effective date provided by the U.S. Treasury," and added that it is not hanging onto the money.
JPMorgan has encouraged their clients to set up alerts to know when the money arrives.
