Lainey Wilson had her own “take your daddy to work day,” when she filmed the “Out of Oklahoma” music video for the newly-premiered Twisters movie.

The Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of her “Out of Oklahoma” music video, filmed in a wheat field in Springfield, Tennessee, outside of Nashville. Wilson’s father, Brian Wilson, appeared on the music video set. The Bell Bottom Country singer-songwriter embraced him and exclaimed, “it’s bring your daddy to work day, I guess!”

Wilson and her team also shared a look at the set they created to match a Twisters scene, deemed “an emotional moment for an emotional song.” Wilson said filming the music video and recording the song for the hotly-anticipated film “was really cool to be able to step into the shoes of Kate Cooper [played by Daisy Edgar-Jones]. This was an opportunity that made me fall in love with the art of storytelling even more than I already did.”

Twisters premiered on July 19, starring Edgar-Jones, Glen Powell, Anthony Ramos and others. Wilson’s ballad is one of more than two dozen songs to appear on the star-studded Twisters soundtrack. The album also includes tracks by Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, Jelly Roll, Kane Brown, Shania Twain and BRELAND, Tanner Adell and many others.
