Kane Brown hilariously prank called his wife in a video shared on Tuesday (June 10).
“I’m gonna call my wife and tell her that I’m going on a trip with Captain America,” Kane said on Elle’s Phoning It In segment. On the phone with his wife, Katelyn Brown, the “Like I Love Country Music” star said “hey, you’ll never believe what just happened. I’m standing here with Anthony Mackie. He just asked me to go on a crazy golf trip, but it’s for a month. But I can’t take my phone. …But it’s a huge opportunity. He is Captain America.”
Katelyn expressed concern that her husband wouldn’t be able to take his phone, which Kane said was a rule because of “a spiritual thing.”
“Well, it’s not spiritual if your child has an emergency and I need to get ahold of you,” Katelyn replied. She and Kane are parents to daughters Kingsley Rose, 5, Kodi Jane, 3, and son Krewe Allen, who turns 1 this month. “But OK. Where’s the trip at?”
“It’s in Guadalajara,” Kane told Katelyn as he quieted his laughter. “I gotta leave in two days.”
When he revealed it was all a prank, Katelyn said “get the f*** out of here! Shut the f*** up.”
Kane made another Phoning It In prank call to Taylor Lautner, telling the actor that he’d been asked to play Jacob in a Twilight remake. Lautner played the character in The Twilight Saga from 2008 to 2012. Kane also revealed that he used to prank call multiple pizza places and make them talk to one another. Watch the prank calls below.
