Trisha Yearwood described her soon-to-release studio album as a reflective record โ€” โ€œlooking back and kind of talking to my younger selfโ€ โ€” as she shared a look at โ€œhow I rechargeโ€ at home.

Yearwood shared a glimpse of how she chooses to โ€œrechargeโ€ at home in a clip shared on Wednesday (June 11). The post arrives as the singer-songwriter counts the days until she releases her 15-track studio album, The Mirror. Yearwood said โ€œthis whole album is kind of a reflection, honestly, looking back and kind of talking to my younger self and just another layer. So, The Mirror felt like the right title. Weโ€™re just kind of showing this is where I live and what I do, and this is how we recharge from all the crazy.โ€

Yearwood offered โ€œa little look into how I recharge (it mostly means hanging with my dogs),โ€ set to one of the songs on The Mirrorโ€™s track list, โ€œGirls Night In.โ€ That song has already made its debut, along with โ€œBringing The Angelsโ€ and โ€œThe Wall Or The Way Over.โ€

The Mirror is Yearwoodโ€™s โ€œfirst fully co-written and co-produced albumโ€ of her career, she said when she announced the release date earlier this year. โ€œThis is a new chapter for me and one I cannot wait to share with youโ€ฆ I am so proud of this record and hope you love it as much as I loved creating it.โ€ The Mirror will arrive on July 18.
