Kane Brown blended his voice in with late music legend Elvis Presleyâs for a reimagined version of holiday classic, âBlue Christmas.â Brownâs new rendition of the festive ballad with Presley is available now, the genre-blending country star posted on Instagram on Wednesday evening (November 1).
Presley recorded âBlue Christmasâ in the late 1950s on Elvisâ Christmas Album. The 12-track holiday collection also included classics like âWhite Christmas,â âHere Comes Santa Claus (Right Down Santa Claus Lane),â âIâll Be Home For Christmas,â âSilent Nightâ and others.
âI'll have a Blue Christmas without you/ Iâll be so blue just thinking about you/ Decorations of red on a green Christmas tree/ Won't be the same dear, if you're not here with me/ And when those blue snowflakes start falling/ That's when those blue memories start calling/ You'll be doin' all right, with your Christmas of white/ But I'll have a blue, blue blue blue Christmas/ âŠYou'll be doin' all right, with your Christmas of white/ But I'll have a blue, blue blue blue Christmasâ
Brownâs âBlue Christmasâ with Presley comes as he readies the release of his next era. The hit-making artist most recently released âI Can Feel It,â a Phil Collins-inspired anthem that he debuted live for the first time at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas in September.
