Today, we remember the tragic events of September 11th, 2001 -- a day that changed our country forever and claimed nearly 3,000 lives. For country star Megan Moroney, 9/11 is personal. Her uncle, Dennis Moroney, died in the North Tower at just 39 years old, leaving behind a wife and two children.
Megan honored him with her song "Heaven By Noon," written after learning her aunt’s last conversation with her husband was about something as simple as an oil change -- never knowing it would be their last.
It’s not a big radio hit, but on a day like today, "Heaven By Noon" is a powerful reminder of love, loss, and hope.
